How much happier can an orchard get when the wild apple trees become a colorful riot of greens, pinks, and reds?! I couldn't miss the opportunity to snap a few shots of my three-year-old niece Caroline one evening as we took a trek for a close-up look at the trees. She loved the apples (and weeds) and I loved how the evening sun cast a dreamy light on her, making her look like an apple fairy.
